The pepper decoring machine PD-6000
Up to four bell peppers can be placed manually in the clamping system, by one or two operators. As the clamps are closed
the bell pepper is automatically centered.
The drum holding the bell peppers is turning stepwise. In the first rotational step all green stems of the bell peppers
are cut off. At the next rotational step the height of the bell peppers is sensed and used to set the coring depth.
The coring is performed by pneumatic coring devices.
Dofra's pepper decoring machine
Dofra's pepper decoring machine has been equipped with an overpressure air system to clean the inside of the bell peppers.
All cores, loose seeds and stems etc. are separately collected on a feeding out belt.
In the next step the cored and cleaned bell peppers are lengthwise cut into pieces by a pneumatic segmenting station.
Depending on the knife section in the segmenting station, the bell peppers can be cut into halves or quarters.
The cut end-product is fed out underneath the machine and can be collected on a feed out belt (optional).
