In 2009, Dofra has introduces two complete new conveyer weighers to the market.
One is the conveyor weigher CWD-1500 for automatically weighing dry products.
The other is the conveyor weigher CWW-1500 for weighing wet products.
The conveyor weigher for dry produce is used for fast and accurate weighing of dry produce, such as peeled and/or cut potatoes,
peeled onion, segmented carrots etc. The produce is fed into a dosing hopper and transported to the weighing section via
a hygienic conveyer belt that has been optimized for product dosing.
The conveyor weigher for wet produce is used for fast and accurate weighing of produce that sinks in water, e.g.
peeled and/or cut potatoes, baby carrots etc.
Conveyor weigher - Intelligent Supply control
The weigher section of both conveyor weighers make use Dofra's Intelligent Product Supply control system which
transports the produce at maximum speed until the required weight is nearly reached. At that moment the speed of
the belt reduces until the pre-entered weight has been reached.
